ABOUT EVANDER KANE

Canadian left-winger who began his NHL career with the Atlanta Thrashers in 2009. He stuck with the franchise as they moved to Winnipeg to become the Jets, then a 2015 trade sent him to the Buffalo Sabres. He began playing with the Edmonton Oilers in 2022.

His outstanding Western Hockey League career led to him being drafted 4th overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

He became the highest-drafted black hockey player in NHL history. He has garnered a significant following on his evanderkane Instagram account for his hockey and lifestyle content.

He grew up with two younger sisters named Brea and Kyla. In September 2024, he got engaged to long-term girlfriend and model Mara Teigen . They welcomed a daughter together in March 2025.

He was teammates with Alexandre Burrows on the Canadian national team.
