He worked in an unpaid internship with the Brazilian FM radio station Jovem Pam while he attended high school. He went on to graduate from FIAM with a degree in social communication.

He served as a commentator for ESPN: Brazil's coverage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He has, on multiple occasions, been named a Top 10 Brazilian Sportscaster.
