ABOUT FELIPE CARBALLO

Uruguayan midfielder who rose to fame as a player for the Primera División club Nacional. In the year 2022, he signed with Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Grêmio. He was named to Uruguay's preliminary squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

He played youth soccer for Nacional.

In the year 2016, he scored his first professional goal in Nacional's 4-2 win over Defensor Sporting. His felicarballo Instagram account, which features highlights from his soccer career, has gained upwards of 280,000 followers. On December 20, 2022, Grêmio announced the signing of Carballo on a contract until 2026.

His full name is Felipe Ignacio Carballo Ares.
