Frances Kazan

ABOUT FRANCES KAZAN

Novelist and celebrity family member who is recognized for having published the historical novel Halide's Gift in the year 2002. She also wrote the book Halide Edip ve Amerika.

She obtained a master's degree in Turkish studies from New York University . From 1997 to 2005, Kazan served as New York correspondent for Cornucopia, an English language magazine about Turkish culture.

Her first book, titled Good Night, Little Sister, was published in the year 1985. She worked on a 2009 production of Ten Blocks on the Camino Real that was performed at the Target Margin Theater.

She was married to director Elia Kazan .
