ABOUT FRANCIS H. CASE
Republican politician who served for 25 years as a member of the United States Congress from South Dakota.
He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War I and later worked as a newspaper editor.
He left the House of Representatives to become a US Senator in 1951 and died while in office eleven years later.
His father was a Reverend and Lake Francis Case, along the Missouri River, is named after him.
