Brazilian MMA welter-weight fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is also a former Lightweight Champion in the Jungle Fight competition in Brazil. He is popular on Instagram and has over 90,000 followers.

He began his career as a kickboxer and is a three-time Brasilia State Kickboxing champion. He began training as a kickboxer before transitioning to Mixed Martial Arts.

He appeared on The Ultimate Fighter : Brazil in March 2012. He began fighting for the UFC in June 2012. He had a 12-1 kickboxing record and a 27-8 MMA professional record as of January 2022.

He was born in Amarante, Piauí, Brazil to a financially disadvantaged family.

He is the ex-training partner of MMA fighter Paulo Thiago .
