Former All-Star NBA and ABA guard known for his well-rounded game.

He played basketball at McKeesport Area High School in Pennsylvania.

He played college basketball at Arizona State University.

He was born in West Virginia, and then his family moved to Pennsylvania.

During the 1967-1968 season, his first All-Star season, legendary head coach Larry Brown led the league in assists.
