Gabriel Sargissian
ABOUT GABRIEL SARGISSIAN
Armenian chess Grandmaster and member of the Armenian National Chess team.
He won the World Youth Chess Championship in 1996 and the European Youth Chess Championship (under 16) in 1998.
He won team gold medals in 2006, 2008 and 2012 at the chess Olympiads.
His grandfather taught him chess when he was six years old.
He competed against the likes of grandmaster Bu Xiangzhi in international competition.
