ABOUT GABY ARELLANO
Politician known for having been the Deputy of the Bolivian Republic of Venezuela. She is also a national member of the Partido Vuluntad Popular Activistas.
She first began her career in politics in 2001 when she entered the University of Los Andes. While attending, she participated in the March 13 Movement which led to her involvement in the election of a new president of the Federation of University Centers. In March of 2009, she led a hunger strike at the UNDP headquarters to help students. In 2015, she ran as a candidate for the primary Democratic Unity Roundtable.
She is known for starting the Voluntad Popular organization which helped promote student rights throughout Venezuela.
She was born in Michelena, Tachira State, Venezuela but was raised in Merida and Caracas.
In 2014, she joined Leopoldo Lopez in a political campaign to find a "peaceful, democratic, and constitutional solution to the government of Nicolas Maduro ".
