ABOUT GARTH JENNINGS
English actor, director, producer, and screenwriter who has gained fame for his directorial work on The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy , Sing , and Sing 2 . He is a co-founder of Hammer & Tongs, the production company behind a number of music videos by bands like Blur , Coldplay , and Vampire Weekend .
He used a camcorder for his early forays into filmmaking as a child. His 2007 film Son of Rambow is partly based on those experiences.
In 2012, he was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Short Form Music Video for his work on the music video for Radiohead 's "Lotus Flower."
His wife is named Louise.
He directed The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy starring Martin Freeman , Sam Rockwell , Mos Def , and Zooey Deschanel .
