Latvian small forward who joined VEF Riga in 2009 after spending two seasons with ASK Riga.
He began playing professionally in 2001 with BK Skonto.
He played for Anwil Wloclawek from 2004 to 2007.
He was raised in Riga, Latvia.
He and Andris Biedrins both became members of the Latvian national team.
