ABOUT GELSON MARTINS

Portuguese winger who has played for Sporting Clube de Portugal. He made a name for himself during the UEFA European U19 Championships and at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup where he scored against Senegal.

He has played youth soccer since 2008 with teams C.F. Benfica and Sporting Clube de Portugal.

He is mainly a winger but has also played right back.

He was born in Praia, Cape Verde, but moved to Portugal as a teenager.

He played for Portugal's Sporting CP like former member Cristiano Ronaldo .
