ABOUT GEORGIA LEE
Independent film director who made the 2006 film Red Doors. The movie earned honors at both the Tribeca Film Festival and the NY, NY Competition. Along with directing films, she has also worked as a writer and producer on various projects.
She earned a degree in biochemistry from Harvard University.
She once worked as an apprentice on principal photography for Martin Scorsese's film Gangs of New York . Her works have been recognized at numerous film festivals throughout the US, earning awards in categories such as Best Writing and Best Narrative.
She and her actress sister, Kathy Shao-Lin Lee, were born in Pennsylvania to Taiwanese immigrant parents.
She served as a juror for the Tribeca Film Festival, which was started by actor Robert De Niro .
