Georgios Kalaitzakis

ABOUT GEORGIOS KALAITZAKIS

Professional guard and small forward that was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 60th and final pick of the 2021 NBA Draft. He began his professional career in 2016 with the Panathinaikos Basketball Club in the Greek Basketball League, where he is a four-time Greek League champion and Greek Cup winner.

He was a member of the Greek junior national teams that participated in the 2015-2018 FIBA Europe U-16,U-18 and U-20 championships.

Although he was drafted during the 2021 NBA Draft, he previously declared for the 2018 NBA draft before later withdrawing his name.

He is a native of Heraklion, Crete, Greece.

He was drafted with the last pick of his draft night, just like Isaiah Thomas in 2011.
