ABOUT GERRY MARSHALL

Saloon car driver who was voted as one of the best drivers of all time according to a 2002 magazine poll. He notably drove for Dealer Team Vauxhall and V8 Holden-Repco Ventora.

He won his first race of 625 in 1964 driving a Mini.

He was involved in a major crash while travelling more than 100 mph that he was lucky to survive.

He was married to Barbara Marshall up until his death in 2016. He had a son named Gregor who also drove cars for a living.

He was testing a Richard Petty IROC Chevy Camaro around the time he died of a heart related illness.
