ABOUT GIANLUCA CASCIOLI
Internationally known musician and composer who performed with multiple symphony orchestras and chamber-music specialists.
He was awarded first place in the 1994 Umberto Micheli International Piano Competition.
He served as a piano soloist with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and numerous other groups.
He was born in Turin, northern Italy's cultural center.
He recorded the works of numerous composers, including a disc of Claude Debussy 's Préludes.
