ABOUT GIEL BEELEN

Dutch DJ and radio host known for his work broadcasting on Vara. In 2014, he set a Guinness World Record when he completed a 198-hour broadcast.

He landed his first job at a major station in 1997 when he started broadcasting for Radio 3 FM.

He won a Dutch Marconi Award for best radio broadcaster in 2003 and from 2005 to 2007.

He was married to Marisa Heutink from 1999 to 2008 and Giulia Wolthuis from 2008 to 2014. In August 2023, he married Floor Joustra. They had a daughter, Josephine Monique, in 2023. In December 2024 they announced they were expecting their second child together. They welcomed their second son, Lieve Beau, on April 26, 2025.

He and Dannic have both become known for hosting radio shows in the Netherlands.
