ABOUT GINA MARTIN
British political activist who spearheaded the campaign to make up-skirting illegal, which resulted in the Voyeurism (Offences) Act of the year 2019. She has written for numerous publications including The Guardian and Glamour.
In the year 2010, she obtained her foundation degree in Art from Mid Cheshire Art College. In the year 2013, she received her bachelor's degree in Creative Advertising from Leeds College of Art.
She has been an ambassador for UN Women UK. In the year 2020, she rejected a nomination for the Order of the British Empire, citing the British Empire's history of violence and oppression. In the year 2019, she authored a book titled Be the Change: A Toolkit for the Activist in You.
In the year 2023, she got married to her husband Jordy.
In the year 2019, she was featured on BBC's 100 Women List, which also included the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Dina Asher-Smith .
