He was a road and track cyclist from Switzerland. He became a member of Bahrain Victorious in the beginning of 2021. He tragically lost his life in an accident that occurred during the 2023 Tour de Suisse.
In the year 2019, he transitioned into a full-fledged professional cyclist and joined the UCI WorldTeam Team Dimension Data.
During the Vuelta a España 2021, he pledged to donate 10 euros for every rider he surpassed in the general classification.
He was born in Chur, Switzerland.
He competed alongside Enric Mas .
