ABOUT GOPI SUNDAR
Composer, music director, record producer, instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter best known for composing the film scores of Notebook, Anwar, Ustad Hotel, 1983, Bangalore Days, and Pulimurugan. He started his own record company in 2014 called Gopi Sundar Music Company.
He began composing music when he was an assistant to the Malayalam composer Ouseppachan. He started his professional career in the year 2003 by composing jingles and tunes for television commercials.
He won Best Music Director for Malayalam films at the 58th Filmfare Awards South in the year 2011. He won Best Music Direction at the 62nd National Film Awards in the year 2015 for the film 1983.
He is from Kochi, India. He married Amrutha Suresh in the year 2022. He was married to Priya Sunder between 2001 and 2009. He has two children named Madhav and Yadhav. His parents are Suresh Babu and Livi.
He's composed film soundtracks that have been sung by actress Shreya Ghoshal and Manju Warrier .
