Canadian bassist and songwriter most famous for his work with The Tragically Hip . The band had 9 number one albums throughout its career. He began focusing on his solo career after The Tragically Hip disbanded due to the death of Gordon Downie .
He and Rob Baker formed The Tragically Hip in 1994 while attending Kingston Collegiate.
The Tragically Hip became the fourth best-selling band in Canada. He produced four records for James McKenty. He plays a G&L SB-1.
His son, Elliot, plays bass for him on tour.
Kurt Cobain opened for The Tragically Hip in 1989.
