ABOUT GRACE JACKSON
Women's sprinter who won silver in the 200-meter race at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, and also won gold in the 4x400-meter relay at the 1989 World Cup. In both 1986 and 1988, she was Jamaican Sportswoman of the Year.
She graduated from Queen's School in Jamaica.
She was first in the high jump in the under-20 Central American and Caribbean Junior Championships. Her final international competition was at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
She grew up in Priory, Saint Ann, Jamaica.
She lost the 200-meter race at the 1988 Olympics to American Florence Griffith-Joyner .
