ABOUT HA'A KEAULANA

Kaiha'a le'a "Ha'a" Keaulana is a professional photographer whose stunning action photos of surfers and the sea have earned her a following of more than 170,000 Instagram fans.

She first began surfing with her grandfather at the age of three and at twelve would begin surfing competitively.

Because her father is a stunt coordinator, she has often worked with him as a stunt-girl on his various film projects.

From a long line of surfers, her grandfather is surf legend Buffalo Keaulana. Her mother was a hula dancer and her father was a waterman and stunt coordinator. She has a younger brother.

In February 2017, she posted an action shot of surfer Laird Hamilton at Buffalo Keaulana's Big Board Classic.
