ABOUT HANS NøRGAARD ANDERSEN

Danish motorcycle speedway racer known for serving as captain of his nation's Speedway World Cup-winning teams in 2006 and 2008. He won the Danish National Championship in 2007.

He started racing professionally in 1998 and placed in his first Speedway Grand Prix in 2002.

He's won the Scandinavian, Danish, and Czech Grand Prix as well as the Golden Helmet of Pardubice.

He grew up in Odense, Norway.

He and Nicki Pedersen both competed for Norway in 2008.
