ABOUT HARRY ALLEN
Activist and journalist often referred to as The Media Assassin who is most famous for his affiliation with pioneering hip-hop act Public Enemy, having appeared on several of the group's songs. He has served as an advisor to the Archives of African American Music and Culture at Indiana University.
He grew up in Harlem, New York. He attended Adelphi University, where he met Public Enemy's Chuck D in an animation class.
He was a very early proponent of the internet and created the webzine Rap Dot Com in the early 90's.
He married Zakiya Allen.
He co-founded the Rhythm Cultural Institute with rapper KRS-One and others.
