ABOUT HARSH SANGHAVI

Indian politician who is best known as the Minister of State in Gujarat, Indian under Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel's cabinet. He posts to Instagram under the handle iharshsanghavi, where he has over 950,000 followers.

He entered the world of politics as a social worker at the age of 15, working with Yuva Morcha, the youth wing of the BJP. In 2012, he won the elections by record breaking margin and was the 4th highest winner of Gujarat Assembly. He became the youngest MLA, at 27. In 2008, he assumed the role of State General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha.

Under the leadership of Bhupendrabhai Patel in 2021, he has headed multiple Cabinet roles. These responsibilities include overseeing Sports, Youth Services, and Cultural Activities, along with coordinating Voluntary Organizations, Division of Non-Resident Gujaratis, Home Guard and Village Guards, Civil Defence, Narcotics Control, Excise, Jails, Border Security (Independent Charge), Home and Police Housing, and Disaster Management.

He was raised by parents, Ramesh Bhuralal Sanghavi (father) and Devindraben Ramesh Sanghavi (mother) in Surat, Gujarat, India. His father passed away in August 2024. He is married to Prachi Sanghavi.
