ABOUT HAWK KOCH

Film producer known for his work on Wayne's World and Wayne's World 2. Also a tour manager, he worked with such popular music groups as The Supremes and The Dave Clark Five.

Early in his career, he served as Roman Polanski's assistant director on the 1974 film Chinatown.

From 2012-2013, he held office as President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

He grew up in Los Angeles as the child of film producer Howard Winchel Koch, Sr.

He worked as Sydney Pollack 's assistant director on the 1973 film The Way We Were.
