ABOUT HENRY BIBBY
Former point guard who played in the NBA from 1972 to 1981, winning an NBA championship in 1973 as a member of the New York Knicks.
He played basketball at Person-Albion High School in North Carolina.
He won three consecutive NCAA championships playing for UCLA.
His brother Jim Bibby pitched 12 seasons in the major leagues, compiling a very respectable 3.76 ERA.
His son Mike Bibby became a standout NBA point guard as well, excelling with the Sacramento Kings and eventually playing for the Knicks just like his father.
