ABOUT HERBIE FLOWERS
Bassist and celebrated session musician who has been a member of T. Rex, Sky, and Blue Mink.
He started playing music when drafted into the Royal Air Force and went on to play with many Dixieland jazz bands.
He composed "Grandad" for Clive Dunn , inspired by the "ding dong" sound of his doorbell.
His wife Ann was his manager around the time he started playing with T. Rex.
He was one of the session musicians on Lou Reed's album Transformer.
