NFL coach known for his soundbites called 'Hermisms.' He served as head coach of the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs before becoming an NFL analyst on ESPN. He coached Arizona State from 2018 until 2022.

As a player, he was part of the Philadelphia Eagles squad that played in Super Bowl XV.

In a controversial move, the president of the Kansas City Chiefs put out rumors that the team wanted to hire him when he had two years left on his contract with the Jets.

He had two daughters with his wife Lia.

He went to coach the Kansas City Chiefs after Dick Vermeil 's retirement.
