ABOUT HIRO YAMAMOTO
Seattle-born grunge bassist who was one of the founders of Soundgarden. After leaving the band in the early 1990s, he formed a music group called Truly.
His first Soundgarden EP, Screaming Life, was released in October of 1987.
A songwriter as well as a bass player, he composed such Soundgarden songs as "All Your Lies," "Nazi Driver," and "Heretic."
He grew up in Seattle, Washington.
He and singer Chris Cornell were both founding members of Soundgarden.
