Professional tennis player known for his success as an internationally recognized singles player. He was ranked number 145 in the world as of August 2021. His tennis fame has led him to garner more than 850,000 followers on his holgerrune Instagram page, where he posts career updates.

He started playing tennis at the age of six. As a junior player, he won the U14 European singles champion. He became a professional tennis player in 2020 at the age of 16.

He won the 2021 ATP Challenger title in Biella, Italy. However, he was fined for shouting a homophobic slur in the semi-final.

His parents are Aneke Rune and Anders Nødskov. His sister is named Alma.

One of his inspirations for tennis is superstar Roger Federer .
