ABOUT IGOR GOMES

Brazilian midfielder who rose to fame after making his professional debut for São Paulo FC, with whom he won the 2021 Campeonato Paulista. In the year 2023, he competed for Atlético Mineiro in the Copa Libertadores. At the international level, he represented Brazil in the 2020 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament.

He played youth soccer for São Paulo between 2013 and 2018. Gomes has been capped by Brazil at under-20 level, representing the team at the 2017 Toulon Tournament and the 2019 South American U-20 Championship.

He scored his first two professional goals in a 2-1 win for São Paulo over Ituano. He shares his soccer triumphs on his igorgomes Instagram account, which boasts more than 480,000 followers.

He became Alan Kardec 's teammate upon joining Atlético Mineiro.
