ABOUT ILAIX MORIBA

Professional midfielder known for playing with the German team RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. He has also played for the Guinean national team at the senior level.

He started out playing youth league with Espanyol from 2008 to 2010 before moving on to Barcelona from 2010 to 2020.

He began his senior career with Barcelona before being traded to RB Leipzig in 2021. He started his international career playing with Spain U-17 in 2019 before playing with Guinea in 2021.

His mother is from Guinea and his father is from Liberia. He holds citizenship in both Spain and Guinea.

He has played with Naby Keita who is on both the Guinea national team and RB Leipzig.
