ABOUT INDRA LESMANA
Jazz artist who became known internationally for No Standing from 1982 and For Earth and Heaven from 1986.
He studied at the New South Wales Conservatorium of Music.
He released his first single-instrumental jazz music video Reborn in 2000. It became a popular fixture on Indonesian national television.
His father, jazz musician Jack Lesmana, introduced him to jazz music when he was a child. He collaborated with his sister, filmmaker Mira Lesmana. He married Sophia Latjuba in 1992.
He and fellow Indonesian singer Agnes Monica were contemporaries.
