Japanese professional wrestler Masami Odate known by her ring name Io Shirai. She is signed to the WWE. High-flying assaults in the ring are her signature moves as a wrestler. She stands at 5 feet 1 and a half inches.
She began her wrestling career in 2007, wrestling for various promotions across Japan and Mexico.
She is well known for her time wrestling for World Wonder Ring Stardom in her pre-WWE days. In 2020 she won the NXT Women's Title by defeating Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat match.
Her sister Mio is a professional wrestler with whom she used to be tag team partners.
In 2021, she defeated Mercedes Martinez and Toni Storm to retain her NXT women's championship.
