ABOUT ISH SMITH

NBA point guard who broke into the league with the Houston Rockets in 2010. He signed a 3-year, $18 million contract with the Detroit Pistons in 2016.

He played four years of college basketball at Wake Forest and finished with more than 1,000 career points and 600 career assists, but went undrafted.

He played for ten different teams in his first six years in the NBA.

He was born to Gwen and Larry Smith and has three siblings.

During the 2012-2013 season, he played with point guard Jameer Nelson on the Orlando Magic.
