He began his professional career in 2007 with Tiro Federal after spending a few year's in the club's youth system.

He was sent on loan to Newell's Old Boys in 2008 and made 19 appearances for the team.

He was brought up in Capitan Bermudez, Argentina.

He was born a year before Argentinian soccer star Lionel Messi .
