ABOUT JACK COPELAND

Accomplished philosopher and academic. He was most recognized as one of the most revered professors of philosophy at the University of Canterbury.

He studied philosophy at the University of Oxford.

He was selected as the Lecturer of the Year by the University of Canterbury's student union in 2010.

His family was residing in England when he was born.

He and Sudanese politician Sadiq Al-Mahdi both studied philosophy at the University of Oxford.
