Television broadcaster of the Chicago Bulls and Pittsburgh Steelers. He is famous for his call of the 1972 game-winning touchdown pass called the "Immaculate Reception."

He was a World War II United States Air Force navigator who flew 23 combat missions.

He got his start calling football and basketball games at West Virginia University.

He was born in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The "Immaculate Reception" was thrown by quarterback Terry Bradshaw .
