Influential musician in the punk rock movement who was a member of the 1970s all-woman group, The Runaways.

She was selected as a member of The Runaways at age sixteen.

She earned a degree in linguistics, in Italian, and later earned a J.D. after ending her music career in the 1980s.

Her sister, Carol Fuchs, is a screenwriter.

She did not give permission to use her name in the 2010 film about The Runaways, so she was portrayed by Alia Shawkat's fictional character, Robin.
