Daughter of American journalist Barbara Walters , who is known for her appearances on ABC television shows The View and 20/20 .
She was adopted as a baby in 1968.
Her mother was inducted into the the Television Hall of Fame in 1989.
She grew up living with her siblings Carol and Zev.
During her mother's television career, she interviewed many famous people such as Barack Obama and Michelle Obama .
