ABOUT JAIME MUNGUIA
Professional boxer who captured the WBO light middleweight championship by defeating American Sadam Ali in May 2018. He had previously won the vacant WBC Latino light middleweight title earlier that year.
He began his training at a small gym in his hometown of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
He became the youngest Mexican boxer to win the WBO junior middleweight title. His boxing fame has led him to amass over 1.4 million followers on his jaimemunguiaoficial Instagram account.
His father, Jaime, was also a boxer.
He defeated Liam Smith via unanimous decision to retain the WBO light middleweight championship.
