ABOUT JAKE FERGUSON

NFL tight end that was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys as a fourth-round pick in 2022. Before being drafted, he played college football at the University of Wisconsin . Following his 2021 season, he was named a member of the first team All-Big Ten.

He was considered a four-star prospect while at Vel Phillips Memorial High School. In addition to football, he also played baseball and basketball.

While at Wisconsin, he caught at least one pass in 47 straight games, which is a program record. The previous record holder was former NFL wide receiver Lee Evans . In the 2023 off-season, he spent time attending the Tight End University Summit put on by fellow NFL stars Travis Kelce and George Kittle . As a player, he has become known for his excellent blocking ability.

Although he was born in Rapid City, South Dakota, he grew up living with his family in the Madison, Wisconsin area. He is one of two brothers.

He played alongside Dak Prescott as a member of the Cowboys during the 2022 season.
