He played football at St. Lucie West Centennial High School in Florida.

He was the fastest linebacker at the 2010 NFL Combine, running a 4.54 40-yard dash.

He was born to Gary and Alice Chaney.

He played alongside lefty quarterback Michael Vick from 2010 to 2012 on the Eagles.
