ABOUT JAMES HOLZHAUER

Game show contestant and professional sports gambler. He is best known for his 32-game winning streak on Jeopardy! in 2019. He also appeared on the American version of The Chase in 2014 and 500 Questions in 2015.

He skipped second grade. At age seven, he was moved up to a fifth-grade math class.

He won $2,464,216 on Jeopardy! over his 33 appearances. His reality fame has allowed him to garner over 260,000 on his Twitter page.

His father was a German immigrant. His grandmother was Japanese and spoke very little English. He promised her that he would appear on Jeopardy! before she died.
