ABOUT JAMES MARSTERS

Best known for playing the role of Spike on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off series Angel . As well as acting, he has worked in television as a writer, director, and producer.

He developed an interest in acting after performing the role of Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh in fourth grade.

He also played roles on the television shows Smallville , Caprica, and Torchwood. He became involved with the Dragon Ball series, doing voice-overs on multiple episodes of Super, as well as voicing characters in two of the video games. His other voice-over credits include working on animated shows such as DuckTales and Star Wars: The Clone Wars .

He married Liane Davidson in 1989, and the couple had a son before divorcing in 1997.

He appeared on Smallville with Tom Welling .
