ABOUT JAMES D. STRAUSS
Philosopher and theologian most remembered for being the Einstein of the Restoration Movement.
He studied under Walter Sykes at the Christian Theological Seminary.
He was known for his extraordinarily long syllabi as a teacher, which most typically ran around 100 pages in length, single-spaced.
His family was residing in Herrin, Illinois, when he was born.
He also obtained his Bachelor's degree from Butler University where the NBA's Shelvin Mack once studied.
