ABOUT JAMIE O'BRIEN
American surfer who, in 2004, became one of the youngest surfers ever to win the Pipeline Masters. He has gone to win competitions like the 2009 Rip Curl international and appear in films like Blue Crush and Step Into Liquid.
He grew up near the Banzai Pipeline in Hawaii.
In 2005, he won the Boost Breakthrough Performance Award at Surfer Magazine's Surfer Awards. He runs a self-titled YouTube channel, which features clips of him surfing some of the biggest waves he can find. The videos on his whoisjob TikTok have become hugely popular, earning over 15 million total likes. He uses the platform to post clips of his surfing sessions.
His father was a lifeguard.
He and Bethany Hamilton are both famous surfers from Hawaii.
