ABOUT JANDEL GUSTAVE

Professional pitcher that was signed by the Houston Astros as an free agent in 2010. He was acquired by the Milwaukee Brewers via trade in June 2021.

He began his professional career playing for the Brewers' rookie affiliate team the DSL Brewers.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Minnesota Twins on August 11, 2016.

His mom died when he was 2 and he and his siblings were raised by his grandma.

Prior to undergoing Tommy John surgery, he played alongside José Altuve during the 2016 MLB Season.
